How to Install Strap in Your Patio Chairs?

When the weather is fine, patio chairs are comfortable for sitting. Often they are kept outside and as a result of which the straps get damage and stretched out of shape. In this case it is good to replace the straps and give a new look to your chairs.

The straps are usually attached to the chair with the help of plastic pins. You need to take the measurement of the straps of your chair and then you need to order it from any shop. Once you get the straps, you only need to replacement slings the old ones with the new ones.

Instructions for installing the straps
  • With the help of a tape, measure the width of your patio chair strap.
  • Then, cut the straps according to your measurements with the help of a utility knife. The straps are attached to the frame of the chair with pins. Pull out the pins with a pliers.
  • Usually the straps are shorter than your actual measurement, which becomes tight after installation. To avoid this situation, put the straps in boiling water so that they can be stretched around the chair easily.
  • Then start wrapping the strap on the side of the chair to the other side. Repeat this process unless all the straps are installed.

And finally your old straps will be replaced by the new straps.

If you want to replace the old straps and want to purchase new straps, then you can place your order at American Slings and Patio Supplies.
